Website and Portal Terms of Use
Rules for using the limonops.com website and the LiMon customer portal: magic-link sign-in, acceptable use, downloads, orders, security reports, governing law.
Last updated: August 2026
These terms explain how you may use the LiMon public website, customer portal, download pages, portal APIs, and hosted customer workflows. They are meant to be practical rules for the hosted parts of LiMon, not a replacement for the software licence.
Everything outside those hosted parts has its own document:
- The LiMon software itselfEnd User License Agreement
- Personal dataPrivacy Policy
- Refunds and cancellationsRefund and Cancellation Policy
- PurchasesSection 6 below, together with the order and payment terms Paddle shows at checkout.
1. Services Covered
These terms apply to:
- limonops.com and its public pages.
- The customer portal on
license.limonops.comorportal.limonops.com. - Download links, license-key views, entitlement assignment flows, and portal APIs.
Any other LiMon host, subdomain, administrative interface, internal API, staging environment, or tool that is not listed here is not authorised for public access unless we clearly publish it as a public service.
If a page, order, licence, or written agreement says something more specific, that more specific wording controls for that item.
2. Who May Use the Portal
The public website may be viewed by anyone who uses it lawfully.
The customer portal is for customers, evaluation users, and people authorised by those organisations. You may only access portal data, licence keys, downloads, or customer-specific files for an organisation you are allowed to represent.
LiMon administrative, internal, staging, or operator-only systems are not part of the public website or customer portal. If you are not explicitly authorised to use one, do not try to access it.
3. Magic Links and Sessions
Portal login uses one-time magic links. Treat a magic link like a password while it is valid:
- Do not share it outside the person or team authorised to access that customer account.
- Do not use a link that was not issued to you or your organisation.
- Tell us if you believe a portal link, session, or email account has been misused.
We may expire links, revoke sessions, or ask for another sign-in when needed for security.
4. Acceptable Use
Please use the website and portal normally and responsibly. You must not:
- Try to access another customer account or operator account, or any download, licence key, file, portal record, or API data that belongs to another customer or is not assigned to your organisation.
- Probe, scan, overload, or test the security of the website, portal, APIs, or infrastructure without our prior written approval.
- Bypass authentication, download controls, rate limits, entitlement checks, anti-forgery checks, or other safeguards.
- Use malware, scripts, bots, or automated traffic in a way that disrupts the service or collects restricted information.
- Upload, submit, or send illegal, misleading, abusive, or harmful content through contact, support, evaluation, or portal forms.
- Use the portal to redistribute software, licence keys, customer-specific assets, or private links except as allowed by your licence or written agreement.
- Misrepresent your identity, company, entitlement, purchase status, or authority to act for a customer.
We may block, suspend, or limit access if we reasonably believe these rules are being broken, if there is a security risk, or if we need to protect customers, LiMon, or the service.
5. Downloads and Licence Material
Some downloads are public. Others are available only to a customer, an active evaluation user, or a specific entitlement.
Authenticated downloads, licence keys, checksums, release notes marked for customers, and customer-specific support files are not public material. Do not publish private portal links, raw storage paths, licence keys, or access tokens.
Downloading the software does not give you rights beyond the applicable EULA, order, evaluation terms, or written agreement.
6. Purchases and Orders
Two ways to buy. You can pay by card at checkout on the pricing page, or use Buy by invoice on that same page if you buy through procurement, need a purchase order, or want to pay by bank transfer. It opens the Request an Invoice or Purchase Order form.
Who you are buying from.
- Card checkout is processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our authorised reseller and merchant of record: Paddle takes the payment, handles the tax, and issues the invoice, and the buyer terms it shows at checkout apply to the payment itself.
- An invoiced or purchase-order sale may be raised either through Paddle or billed directly by Alia Software S.L., depending on where you are and how you pay — the invoice you receive names the seller.
In both cases Alia Software S.L. is the licensor of the software and the party responsible for delivering and supporting it.
Prices and tax. Prices are shown in euros.
- Where Paddle is the seller, it determines and collects any VAT or equivalent tax due for your location and shows the total before you pay; checkout may display your local currency for convenience, but the euro price governs.
- Where we invoice you directly, Spanish VAT rules apply: customers in Spain are charged IVA, and business customers elsewhere in the EU are billed under the reverse-charge rules.
Either way the invoice states the treatment applied.
How an order is delivered. Everything is delivered digitally — there is nothing physical to ship.
- A card payment gives you access to the customer portal straight away, at the email address used at checkout; an invoiced order gives you that access once payment reaches us.
- In the portal you supply the Installation ID of the LiMon deployment the licence is for, and we sign a licence key bound to that installation.
- The key is shown in the portal and emailed to you as a backup.
Delivery is complete when the key is issued. An order does not expire while it is waiting for an Installation ID — you can claim your key at any time.
Quantity. Self-service card checkout covers one licence per order. For several licences, a quote, or company billing terms, use Buy by invoice on the pricing page.
Maintenance. A platform purchase includes the first year of maintenance. That first year is one-time and does not renew by itself.
Continuing afterwards is optional: maintenance can be bought as a fixed 1-, 3-, or 5-year term, or as an annual subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it. If maintenance lapses, your platform licence keeps working and monitoring continues — only the maintenance-dependent features of your edition stop.
Evaluations. Evaluation licences involve no payment and are not orders. They are governed by the evaluation terms in the End User License Agreement.
Refunds, cancellation, and what happens once a key exists are covered by the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Use of the software you buy is governed by the End User License Agreement.
7. Website Content and Intellectual Property
The website, portal, text, graphics, logos, screenshots, product names, code, and other materials are owned by Alia Software S.L. or its licensors. You may link to our public pages and quote short extracts in a normal fair-use or citation context. Other copying, redistribution, modification, or commercial use needs our prior written permission unless the law allows it.
LiMon does not claim ownership of trademarks belonging to third-party software vendors mentioned on the website. Those names are used only to identify compatible licence managers or software ecosystems.
8. Third-Party Services and Links
The website and portal may link to third-party sites or services, including product documentation, payment processing, analytics, or support tools. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services, and their own terms and privacy notices may apply.
9. Availability and Changes
We try to keep the website and portal available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or remove pages, portal features, downloads, or APIs for maintenance, security, legal, operational, or product reasons.
Information on the public website is provided for general product and business purposes. It is not a binding offer unless a checkout page, signed quote, order form, or written agreement says so.
10. Security Reports
If you find a security issue, please report it responsibly to [email protected] or [email protected]. Do not access, copy, change, delete, or disclose customer data or restricted files while investigating.
11. Relationship With Other Terms
These terms govern use of the website, portal, downloads, and hosted workflows. They do not replace:
- The End User License Agreement for installed software.
- Any signed contract, order form, or subscription terms.
- Mandatory legal rights that cannot be waived.
- The Privacy Policy for personal data.
If there is a conflict, the more specific document applies to the specific subject it covers.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute about use of the website or portal will be handled by the courts and tribunals of Spain, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules require a different forum.
